Have a small dance floor. Trust me…
Most parties we DJ are of the smaller side… under 150 people and usually about 80-100. 50% of the people invited might know 2 or 3 other people and are probably shy. They also might be shy or just don’t usually dance, so a large mainly empty dance floor isn’t all that inviting. Yes, might think a big dance floor will mean more room for people to dance but believe me, it’ll just look empty and uninviting. Make it small & tight and no matter how many people are out there, it’ll look full. Plus… if it does get crazt full, you can always move a table or two out of the way.
Always leaving them wanting more.
